A word on kindness

"Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." (Ephesians 4:31-32 KJV)

Words can hurt.

Let's be real; words can tear a person down. Each of us has a responsibility to be kind. Common courtesy dictates that one treats others as he or she wishes to be treated. How much more pleasant would the world be if we all followed the golden rule? A kind word can go a long way. Never underestimate the power of a smile and a hello. When you cross paths with someone who is dealing with life's struggles (hint: everyone is dealing with a silent battle against life's struggles), share an edifying word, not a criticism that will tear them down. Join us, at Terri's Cakes, in spreading positivity and love.

If you want to go a step further, give them a cupcake! ;-)
